Practicing many different styles of yoga, Ola Hadi has studied with many inspiring teachers including Nikole Fortier (Iyengar), Michael Fukumura & Maral Hadidi (Anusara), and Dana Rae Pare & Trevor Monk (Ashtanga). She is a 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) and has been teaching yoga since 2011.
Passionate about deepening her knowledge, Ola has traveled to India to learn more about yoga and meditation. She aspires to teach classes that are uplifting and strengthening, while creating space for play and reflection. Special attention is given to safe alignment in yoga postures. She loves to encourage the start of "yo-ddies" - yoga buddies and communities that provide a safe and welcoming yoga community to support each other and the practice. Aside from her love of yoga, she enjoys writing poetry, rock-climbing, traveling, salsa-dancing, and teaching history at a local high school. Ola is a graduate from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in Political Economy of Industrial Societies and a Minor in Anthropology. She also holds a Master's in Education and has completed Graduate level coursework towards a Master's in History from San Diego State University. She is active in her teacher's union and serves as a Board Member on the Sweetwater Education Association (SEA).
